Publication Ethics

DJMS upholds the highest standards of publication ethics, in alignment with guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The following principles are strictly enforced:

1.1. Authorship and Contribution

  • All authors listed on the manuscript must have made a substantial contribution to the research and writing process.
  • The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors approve the final manuscript before submission.

1.2. Research Integrity

  • Authors must ensure that research is conducted ethically and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Research involving human subjects must have received ethical approval from an accredited institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee.

1.3. Conflicts of Interest

  • Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • DJMS ensures that potential conflicts of interest are addressed to maintain the integrity of the peer-review process.

1.4. Misconduct and Corrections

  • Plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, and other forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited.
  • DJMS may issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern if misconduct is identified after publication.

1.5. Reporting Misconduct
Concerns regarding unethical behavior may be reported to the Editor-in-Chief. DJMS follows COPE procedures to investigate and resolve allegations of misconduct.
